BHEL is one of the largest engineering and manufacturing enterprises in India ranked among the leading Power Plant Manufacturers in the world.The Project Engineering Management Division (PEM) within BHEL, provides total systemic engineering for BHEL made equipment and also aids in proper selection of equipments from the third parties for designing of thermal power stations.

KLG Systel has worked for the PEM division and provided the most comprehensive performance analysis and design tools for load flow, short circuit, motor acceleration, ground grid, transient stability, battery sizing-discharge and relay coordination studies.

As a result of this, BHEL's PEM engineers are able to quickly and accurately select & design with consistency the various electrical equipment ratings and networks, resulting into reduced equipment sizing and cost, efficient energy utilization and hence a potentially large realized saving in operating cost to their end customers. BHEL till date has been able to execute thermal power projects totaling to a capacity of 23000 MW and compete on a global scale with international players due to technical excellence achieved.
